| | This is the Mount Zion 4x12" pack that came | |
| | out a few months ago, but wasn't really | |
| | spread that much. Mount Zion Recordings is | |
| | yet another sublabel imprint for Congo Natty, | |
| | meaning Rebel MC is behind it all. | |
| | | |
| | These tunes aren't really the best in the | |
| | world, and also suffer a bit from the | |
| | apparent low pressing-budget CN seems to have | |
| | had lately. Anyhow, some of the tunes are | |
| | nice, the first time I heard them all I | |
| | thought they mostly sucked, but when I listen | |
| | to them now, they don't sound that bad. They | |
| | fit in the line of the production of the | |
| | Stevie Hyper D tribute etc.. | |
| | | |
| | If I were to name a highlight of the 7 tunes, | |
| | I'd go for "Behane Selassie" - which, | |
| | interestingly enough, along with "Ark of.." | |
| | includes samples of some kid singing. Now you | |
| | won't hear that every day.. | |
| | | |
| | Oh well, bigup our man in London (you know | |
| | who you are) for supplying this! Nuff sweat | |
| | and tears gone by bringing you this! ;) | |
