Eve Record's review:
"After the enormous buzz of David Forbes' new versions of the now
classic "Questions must be asked" comes the second release for EVE this
year, number 45. Produced by David himself together with producer
extraordinaire Mallorca Lee (of Public Domain fame...), "Psychic" comes
with the added bonus of a remix by Scottish duo "Tipple". Using many of
the original melodies but a adding a distinctive "detroit" stab to the
original offering, Tipple make sure that their mix of "Psychic" stands
out of the crowd.. Look out for their new release on Limbo later in the
year. Lush string breakdowns, cool rolling basslines and head-nodding
breaks all feature in the original mix on the flip, which wouldn't sound
out of place in a club as well as mixed in your favourite listening
compilation... David shows once again what he is capable of: from the
anthemic "Questions must be asked" played by everybody from Jules to
Fontaine to this stunningly cool deep chunky groover..."
That says it all.
