Well, what can be said about this stunning collection of tracks
from the double mix cd of the same name? Spread across 5 vinyls,
every one is a winner, ranging from the deep soulful vocal numbers
like "Finally" and "Lovely" to the dark techy stylings of Cass and
Slide on their remix of "So Strong." Be sure to check out my
personal favorites, Oil UK - The Future, and Espiritu - Man Don't
Cry.
NOTE: Unfortunately, React once again serves up a less-than-perfect
pressing. There is noticable noise in the right channel on all the
tracks on vinyl number 3 (namely the Jori and Azymuth tracks). I
tried like hell to clean these before encoding them, but it was a
rather fruitless effort. The noise is mostly noticable when
listening through headphones or very good speakers, but for the
average pc speakers, you probably won't even mind. Just fair
warning...if you don't like it, call up React and bitch at them to
have their vinyl pressers do a better job :(
