║ Polaris is a six-piece metalcore band from Sydney's south. After ║
║ forming a complete lineup in mid-2012, the band released their ║
║ debut single "Summit" in October of that year and began playing ║
║ regular shows over the course of the next year, branching out of ║
║ Sydney and into the greater NSW region and eventually earning ║
║ support slots with local and international acts such as Born of ║
║ Osiris, Upon A Burning Body, Oh, Sleeper, I, The Breather, In ║
║ Hearts Wake and Buried In Verona. ║
║ ║
║ May 2013 saw the band head into STL Studios with producer/engineer ║
║ Sonny Truelove, to record their six-track debut EP, "Dichotomy", ║
║ which was mixed and mastered by William Putney at Machine Shop ║
║ Studios. With "Dichotomy" having been released to high acclaim on ║
║ November 29 2013, Polaris aim to dedicate 2014 to spreading this ║
║ record across the country. ║
