Next release from the youngest imprint of Holland's The Orange Dance
Company, Sadie Records, is Subsky's Four Days, something I imagine
Sasha would cane to death. The first mix starts with a simple underlay
of synth melody on top of a bassline and drum track then moves on to
find the beat action with an irresistible groove. A perfect dancefloor
material, this tune manages to keep the interest there, but with the
kind of throbbing repetition which I find it really addictive. If you
compare it with "Stef's Rebirth," you'll find that they both have the
same distinctive spaced-out synth elements. It's excellent as a DJ
tool as well as a good peak time tune thanks to its uplifting melody.
The second mix is a progressive house version of it. I'm sure it has
been tested by many DJs and it's been declared as a floorfiller.
