More than 11,000 children have been killed in Syria's ongoing civil war and over
a million are now refugees. The country's largest city, Aleppo, has become
engulfed by fighting between pro- and anti-regime groups. Schools have shut, food
is in short supply and there is the constant threat of shelling, sniper fire and
kidnap. This Dispatches documentary tells the stories of five youngsters whose
lives have been changed for ever by the conflict - siblings Helen, Farah, Sara
and Mohammed, whose father is a rebel commander, and Aboude, a singer and poster
boy for the Syrian uprising. Narrated by James D'Arcy
