Topknot and Natch are the latest recordings to emerge by
Tjinder Singh and Ben Ayres, aka Cornershop. Produced by
Tjinder, these tracks are a product of the initial recording
sessions for their forthcoming 5th album.
Punjabi folk music has always been a mainstay of Cornershop's
influences and these new tracks amplify the point. The
incredible double sugar-coated vocals on these tracks come
courtesy of Bubbley Kaur who has never sung on a record
before.
