Britain's youngest contract killer; the kids who kill in packs; the teens who
murder their parents. It's an apparently inexplicable phenomenon, which strikes

ommit the most evil of crimes. Over the last 50 years, official figures suggest
over 1,100 kids were convicted of murder in England and Wales. Police face an
average of 22 cases every year. The average age of the killer is just 14 years
old. Kids Who Kill is the definitive, chilling survey of Britain's junior murderers.
In this one hour documentary, we tell three detailed stories in forensic detail,
developing clear themes at the heart of the film. These three themes taken together
reveal why, and how, kids can turn into killers. With each theme we'll drill down
into one emblematic story in real detail. And we'll acknowledge other cases in
building that story, referencing similarities at key moments and events - as our
psychological experts interpret the behaviour and give their insight into how
these terrible events occurred, piecing together what's really going on inside
young killers' minds.
