kindred spirits is proud to present the debut release of heavy,
the new soul sensation from nyc. nicky guiland & casey benjamin,
aka heavy, are a fresh vibrant duo, producing a sound that can be
described as the soundtrack to the new urban life. a clever mix of
soul and rock, the two rely on their musical pasts to spice up
their current, edgy sound. besides being gifted producers/
vocalists/instrumentalists, they are also talented songwriters,
which truly reflects in their songs. "wonderlove" is an ode to
minnie ripperton and the whole charles stepny and the rotary
connection period.
