║    Refraction formed in the early months of 2013 from past members of   ║
║    some well-established bands around Melbourne such as æCity Of        ║
║    SirensÆ, æChange AtlanticÆ, Built On SecretsÆ and æDriven To The     ║
║    VergeÆ. Refraction draws on influences from bands such as Volumes,   ║
║    Periphery and Northlane to create melodic harmonies and crushing     ║
║    grooves to make everyone take notice.                                ║
║                                                                         ║
║    Refraction has set their sights high and have already released       ║
║    their debut single 'HunterÆ which already has people talking. As     ║
║    well as this single the guys are have just released their debut      ║
║    Album æFossilsÆ which was recorded by Andrew Scott at Advent         ║
║    Studios and mixed and mastered by Brian Hood at 456 Recording.       ║
║    Brian Hood is well known for recording and mixing bands such as      ║
║    Erra, For All Eternity, Sworn In and A Plea For Purging.             ║
║                                                                         ║
║    With the recent addition of guitarist Rich Hebden, RefractionÆs      ║
║    live show will definitely be a show not to be missed. Rich           ║
║    completes the line up and also adds another layer to writing as      ║
║    well as on stage.                                                    ║
