██▌▄▀█ New new release from the Pendle Coven, coming a ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ little time after the excellent 'Trouble at mill ep" ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ (also reviewed by Tesselate check the reviews link). ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ This time we have six bumping tracks, with a Claro ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Intelecto remix chucked in for good measure, you just ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ cannot argue with that shit. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "Blast turntable (binkys beats)" begins the party ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ with a welcoming intro of scratchy scuffs and heavy ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ tone rich synth hits, that instantly ignite the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ switches and dials which cover the ceiling and ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ floors, in this weird room. Soon joined by a clatter ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ rush drumbeat, this is one of those tracks that ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ succeeds in getting your moving from the very ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ beginning, by sending out puzzling commands to your ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ head and tiny but dense light shows to the very ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ centre of your pink puss laiden brain, and instructs ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ every microbe to flip out like a loon for the exact ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ time period of this track. Excellent. "Hoarfrost" is ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the theme tune to two battling batteries, each vying ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ with each other to be the sole power source of a ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ brand new purchase. Glitch clatter, patterned beat ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ attacks for the whole family. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "Lost twistors" rotates it all ninety degress, and ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ tips you, hard and fast into a large jelly like ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ structure, that seems to be on a journey, to the far ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ side of this thick but thin island. Wallowing bass ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ pulses are scattered throughout this translucent ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ entity, as intelligent beatlines strike out a path, ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ which is then re-wired over and over again, just so ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ we all make it to the richly coloured but soothing ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ waters at our mission end. Ambience blended with a ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ big barrel of mesh, pressed through a fresh cloud. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Smart stuff. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Claro Intelecto's remix of "Jaunty Angle" from the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ debut Pendle Coven ep is a dancefloor laced ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ presentation with all the classic Mark Stewart cuts. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Perfectly machined and cast in solid steel, and ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ coated in a thick duvet like cut of bassline, that ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ takes weeks to gradually melt off. I get first dibs ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ yeh? ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "Petroleum Therapy" takes the form of a marauding ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ enforcement droid, drunk on all the sake he has ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ previously consumed in that damn Karaoke Bar down the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ main street. Everything is pretty much a blur as he ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ bounces into toughened glass bus shelters and loose ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ wires fall out of his chest sockets and drag along ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the streets like a static entrancing tail, that wont ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ take no for an answer. Lets hope this one makes it ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ home ok. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "Stuarts triumph" is a short outing right on the end ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ of side b, but even though its tiny, it kicks off ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ with bubbling zaps and a spiral star festival that is ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ in no mood to go to bed anytime soon. Joined by a ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ mesmorising synthesizer melody, which releases a ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ribbon like barrage of metal coated sparrows into the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sky like a crazy frework ,it causes slices of metal ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ shards to be rained down from above, you just really ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ dont mind, as this visual audio show, is one to ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ rememeber. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Pendle coven deliver another cleverly programmed ep ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ which takes you to the edges of this crazy genre, and ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ drops insights into robotic dreams, drum machine fits ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ and transportable memory outages, that we all love to ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ see and hear. Congratulations PC. ░██▌▄▀
