imagine funky brazilian retro grooves mixed with spaced out
jamaican dub elements and you get dubben. all the tracks are built
around brazilian samples but then added with the sounds of jamaica
to give the tunes a truly tropical feel. especially check out
'rainha do dub' where djavanÆs 'nereci' gets a superb dub touch.
on funky duck pt.1 we get something, which easiest could be
described as if funky kingston was recorded in rio. a serious club
banger! but also donÆt miss out on the deeper 'cuba cabana strand'
which almost have a slight dub-folk sound..lush!
