The title of this fine EP on Housewax is particularly apt considering
veteran producer Rick Wade seems to put out a record seemingly every other
week. However, it's easily another fine piece of work from the Detroit
producer. "The Hawk" combines the kind of classy Rhodes chords we've come
to expect from Wade, sewn up with a firm yet rolling groove, while "Proving
Ground" goes for something a little grittier with its snarling bassline. "I
Just Want" moves into deeper territory before "Dream Flute" winds things
down a notch with a disco-influenced groove that blooms into a sweeping
soundscape of pads
enjoy excellent quality vinyl ripping and encoding! :)
note: why are they still using 3.99 you may ask? and we ask you: why not?
