Domestic ScienceÆ is keyboard wizard Jamie Odell's second
long-player to date, following the debut æMessages from the HubÆ.
æDomestic ScienceÆ looks set to establish Jamie's position
alongside the new breed of electronic future-jazz innovators such
as Mark De Clive-Lowe, Hefner and Phil Asher. His early EpÆs
brought acclaim from such luminaries as Mixmaster Morris, Tom
Middleton and Kirk Degiorgio and his debut album successfully
crossed many boundaries with radio support coming from Robert Elms,
Patrick Forge, Gilles Peterson and Mike Chadwick. Rapidly forging a
name for himself as a leading producer in this burgeoning scene, he
soon found himself remixing and producing for the likes of Lamb,
Airto and Coldcut. Knowing no musical boundaries his new album once
again comes as a complete package spanning many styles. Check out
the heartfelt ballads such as the Robert WyattÆesque æState of
MindÆ and æFlourescent BlueÆ, or the deep house trips of æDeep

Long-awaited new long player from Jamie Odell, this record sparkles
from start to finish. Immaculately produced, and not short of a
good tune or two, it's hard to single out tracks, though 'B-Mine'
shines through for its emotive qualities, and 'Pixel Grain' for its
repetitive 'systems music' feel. From heartfelt ballads to funky
nu-jazz, this is one rewarding album.

It's Future jazz, buts its also got one foot firmly planted in
earlier decades' of tomorrowland fantasiesàO'Dell's strongest work
yet, continues to fuse 70's jazz fusion and 80's pop with techno
