This is an interesting one. Through no fault of their own (affiliate issue perhaps). BATV's release
has information from the center channel duplicated in the left channel. This causes the audio
when downmixed to 2.0 for SD to gain an echo/tin can type effect as the downmix algothrim doesn't
know what to do with the duplicate info. If you leave the audio untouched (as they have done), hardware
decoders play it back almost correctly (it's still has a slight echo) but software based 
decoders such as LAV3 (which is also used commonly to decode audio into AAC) have issues creating an
off center and improperly balanced mix.

We've tested both BATV's and our's extensively through hardware playback, 5.1 AC3 playback on the PC
and the resulting downmixed SDs. Simply put like our StarCrossed S01E01, an interesting anomoly has 
occured. It's less annoying then the buzzing but still hard to take over a 42 minute show.

I guess in the most simple terms, bad.audio.
