Boshing MT sub label Monster Force returns for 2014 with a vengeance and
what better way to kick off the new incarnation of the label than a dark
banger by local lads Acid Test. After seeing their classically styled
uplifting trancer 'Accentuate' supported by trance legends Paul van Dyk,
Solarstone, plus everyone's favourite Egyptian duo, Aly & Fila amongst
others, Acid Test return with something much, much darker!
Exclusively featured in Jordan Suckley's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, 'The
Laboratory' is a dark and twisted tech fuelled monster of a tune. Perched on
a ledge of chunky beats and throbbing basslines, this mother of a production
is swarming with tech stabs galore and darkened quirky FX. The breakdown is
where the real action happens with a slamming breakbeat section featuring an
animated ethnic vocal, that gives way to a killer tech stab drop as it comes
back in.
This one could have only been made in 'The Laboratory'.
