│║ Northern Light is the brainchild of Norwegian ║ │
│║ songwriter and guitar player Tor Talle, whoÆs ║ │
│║ known as a session player and who has written ║ │
│║ music for other artists as well as for ║ │
│║ documentaries, TV programs and web movies. He ║ │
│║ gained the necessary experience in all kinds of ║ │
│║ bands, ranging from jazzrock/fusion to heavy ║ │
│║ metal, but with ôNorthern Lightö he delivers his ║ │
│║ first AOR album. The songs are good to very ║ │
│║ good, but what really attracts my attention here ║ │
│║ is the involvement of no less than seven (!) ║ │
│║ lead vocalists! Who can claim to have ace ║ │
│║ vocalists such as Peter Sundell (Grand ║ │
│║ Illusion), Tony Mills (Shy), Kimmo Blom (Urban ║ │
│║ Tale, Heartplay), Fergie Frederiksen (ex-Toto, ║ │
│║ Mecca), Rob Moratti (Final Frontier) and Mikael ║ │
│║ Erlandsson (Last AutumnÆs Dream) on his debut ║ │
│║ album? Not many, I guess! With such an abundance ║ │
│║ of talented musicians nothing could go wrong and ║ │
│║ the result is indeed a pleasant album, full of ║ │
│║ AOR songs that are easy on the ear. Nothing ║ │
│║ spectacular though, but certainly another goodie ║ │
│║ from the guys at MTM Music. Annoying detail: the ║ │
│║ order of tracks on the promo copy was wrong. ║ │
│║ Hope the problem is fixed on the version thatÆs ║ │
│║ available in the record shops! ║ │
