      │ Flip Kowlier, born Philip Willy Mariette Cauwelier ( Izegem, 1976 )  │░
      │ was a Flemish singer-songwriter who sings in West Flemish (the       │░
      │ dialect of West Flanders).                                           │░
      │                                                                      │░
      │ Besides his solo career Kowlier is also one of the front men of the  │░
      │ West-Flemish hip hop group 't Hof van Commerce and bassist in the    │░
      │ group My Velma. He also has the CD Idol finalist Brahim produced and │░
      │ wrote his lyrics.                                                    │░

      │ He was successful in both Belgium and Netherlands, and was already   │░
      │ several times at various festivals (including Marktrock Leuven and   │░
