on Apollo. The 'Primitive EP' deals in four variations on
broken beat and lounging synth themes, incorporating
batacuda rhythms on 'Primitive' and Innerzone
Orchestra-style polyrhythms with 'A Spiritual Thing',
whereas 'Sapphire Eyes' beds down with lush
Vangelis-style synth brass and 'Planet' comes off like
some Miami Vice cue.
