Loco Records proudly presents the twentieth edition of its sampler series
featuring 4 formerly unreleased tracks delivered by such artists as Nebogitel,
Renoa, WD2N, and Erez NYC. The first track comes from Nebogitel. The artist
responsible for the project resides in the Russian city of Krasnodar. He
started his musical career in 2012 after releasing a couple of titles that
brought him success in his native city. Nebogitel prefers deep house to other
genres and enjoys experimenting with sounds. He has been actively involved in
Krasnodar's nightlife where he performs his DJ sets. His future plans include,
among others, the release of an album. The second production on the EP belongs
to Renoa - an artist who was born and raised in Germany, but in his early teens
he decided to move to Graz in Austria where he met his fellow musician Hadrian.
In 1998, both the gentlemen set up Soundsilo - a collective which appeared in a
series of events. The first vinyl EP from the duo entitled "Soundsilo" released
on Natal Records turned out to be a dream come true of their producing career
that led to the artists' various live performances in several European clubs.
Renoa's tunes have been put out on such labels as Starlight Unlimited, Kraftek,
Skint, Deux Minds, Soulman Music, Music Xpress, and many more. He also made
remixes for well-known artists including Hugo, Pleasurekraft , Enzo Elia , Josh
Dupont, Davide Vario and Shanti Roots. Another track included in the sampler is
from the project of WD2N (We Drive Tonight) represented by Yuri Lima (Brasil)
and Ivan Kovacek (Slovenia). The artists started making music together at the
beginning of 2013, and so far they have released a huge number of tracks. Most
of the releases have been signed to Nervous Records, Audio Tonic, Prison
Entertainment, MEXA Records or Exotic Refreshment. They have also prepared a
remix for the UK duo LOVERDOSE. WD2N's music has been highly rated by such
famous producers as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Chordashian, X-Press 2,
Chris Fortier, Kolombo, WEHBBA, S.K.A.M., just to name a few. The EP closes
"When You're Gone" - an amazing recording from Erez NYC. The artist has
dedicated his life to the international club culture. He has played lots of
gigs as a DJ in many cities around the world including Tel Aviv, Berlin, New
York, Barcelona or Ibiza. Erez started his affair with electronic music at a
very young age. At first, he mainly focused on dancing, but then he began
making his own music and started producing it. It is now obvious that his
approach to music is filled with the purest passion. Today, Erez can be seen
playing alongside local talents as well as such big names as Henrik Schwarz,
Apparat, Chaim, Ivan Smagghe, Magda, Nina Kraviz, and many more. His
productions appeared on the following imprints: Rue de Plaisance, Baile Musik &
BPitch Control.
