martin iveson aka atjazz runs mantis recordings along with andy
mccandless. martin released his first ep 'story' on mantis in 1996.
he began to record for nottingham based label diy discs for whom he
recorded five singles and an album. martin has since produced and
remixed for a multitude of labels around the globe and has gained
huge respect along the way. he has also been dj'ing for eight years
and has now at last decided he loves it, which is good news for us.
'touch the sun' is the second single taken from their forthcoming
album which will be called 'labfunk', out next summer. the track
gets reworked by the holy hands of tom & joice, king britt and
dzihan & kamien, each of them delivering different but equally
great reinterpretations of this epic track.
