│║ Power Metal warriors were born and united to ║ │
│║ become a formidable force known as NIGHTMARE. ║ │
│║ Three decades in the music industry and they ║ │
│║ still remain strong; the evidence of this is ║ │
│║ displayed on their ninth studio album ôThe ║ │
│║ Aftermathö. ║ │

│║ Being a brand new NIGHTMARE listener I honestly ║ │
│║ didnÆt know what to expect on this record but ║ │
│║ always willing to listen to the newest sounds I ║ │
│║ was willing to give it a try. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ The album gets off to a very atmospheric start ║ │
│║ with the opening instrumental track ôThe ║ │
│║ Aftermath (Intro)ö which is a very popular yet ║ │
│║ crucial feature on a Power Metal CD, yet it set ║ │
│║ off the vibe for what we were to expect on the ║ │
│║ album. The first track with vocals ôBringer Of A ║ │
│║ No ManÆs Landö remind me of Power Metal legends ║ │
│║ EDGUY and DRAGONFORCE, particularly where the ║ │
│║ flawless vocal work and outstanding instrument ║ │
│║ arrangements are concerned. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ There are a lot of fantastic melodies on the ║ │
│║ album with excellent rhythm; particularly on ║ │
│║ tracks such as my personal favourite ôForbidden ║ │
│║ Tribeö, ôDigital DNAö and ôGhost In The Mirrorö. ║ │
│║ You can imagine the long, swishing flowing as ║ │
│║ Power Metallers head bang to the music; it ║ │
│║ definitely provided the ideal soundtrack on my ║ │
│║ trip to the shops, certainly making it more ║ │
│║ adventurous. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ So overall a fantastic ninth installment from ║ │
│║ NIGHTMARE that will provide an epic soundtrack ║ │
│║ for Power Metal fans everywhere. ║ │
