   ▐█▓▌   █▓     of Brackles' recent Rinse Presents CD          █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     (RinseCD024), set- ting Cherri V's languid     █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     vocals above beats that flow like              █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     quicksilver. Rooted somewhere between UK       █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     funky and two-step, the track is               █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     continually in motion. Beneath the             █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     surface, the sub-bass forms a tense and        █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     deadly undertow, hitting with a force that     █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     belies the track's apparent smoothness.        █▓   ▐█▓▌

   ▐█▓▌   █▓     The EP's alternative take on the title         █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     track finds highly regarded UK MC Trim         █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     adding his distinctive voice to the fray,      █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     his words darting through the mix like         █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     extra fragments of percussion.                 █▓   ▐█▓▌

   ▐█▓▌   █▓     slice of shuffly R&B, constructed from         █▓   ▐█▓▌

   ▐█▓▌   █▓     Brackles himself rounds off the EP with a      █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     brand new original, "Do It For The P",         █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     reminiscent of the brittle garage tracks       █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     for which he originally began to attract       █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     attention. A masterclass in rhythmic           █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     wordplay, its percussion shapeshifts into      █▓   ▐█▓▌
   ▐█▓▌   █▓     several different configurations across        █▓   ▐█▓▌
