Notes:
EXHIBITION, that are the former ETERNITY X-members
Jeff Shernov (Guitar), Jamie Mazur (keyboards) and
Jimmy Peruta (drums), the less known bassist Brett
Rome and Bobby "Leather Lungs" Lucas (Ex-SEVEN
WITCHES/OVERLORDE) on the microphone. Together they
released one of the best US-Metal-albums of the last
time. Okay, you shouldn't deny the Prog-part, but
it's woven quite skilled into the whole sound, so
that none of the US-Power Metal freaks is going to
be overtaxed...
Someone who principally dislikes keyboards and hates
very long instrumental parts, shouldn't buy this
album. But everyone else should have it, I think.
This album is bursting with joy of playing,
ingenious song writing and just God-like vocals! Who
didn't like the last ZANDELLE or who cannot forget
Bobby's vocals on "Second War In Heaven", that
mustn't miss this small treasure. A perfect
production is included as an extra, as well.
Perfect! Every song is an event full of emotions,
passion, music and technical brilliance! A classic
in the future, but unfortunately is going to be
going under in the masses of releases like always in
this style of music... anyway, we don't hope so and
support the Gods!
I don't want to tell something more special about
the single songs. Musically you can hear a brilliant
mixture of FATES WARNING and a small touch of DREAM
THEATER. But not as frilly as they are. Somehow also
CRIMSON GLORY come to my mind... it doesn't matter,
I'm sure you'll recognize the class of this band by
the first note. If not, then it's not the right
album for you! (Online April 26, 2003)
