              addition to the Electr*c series on his
              consistently impressive Brownswood
              Recordings imprint. Covering all
              permutations of the bass music
              movement, Brownswood Electr*c 4
              showcases some of the most exciting,
              emerging producers. Louis Fulton's
              "Shoulda Known" kicks things off,
              coupling a high-pitched vocal to deft
              drum work and starry-eyed twinkles
              whereas Monk's "L" pushes a super lo-
              slung, Fly-Lo styled, electronic heavy
              beat down. From here, things move from
              Glenn Astro's floor-friendly "We Killed
              Our Probation Worker" with its grooving
              chord stabs to the skittering, micro-
              processed beats of Deft's "Breakdown"
              with added jungle flavour.
