If you didn't know Patrice Scott was from Detroit, you could probably
guess. You see, the Euphonium EP comes on like the soundtrack to a sci-fi
tear-jerker yet to be made, all intergalactic chords, deep space pads,
melancholic melodies and eyes-closed rhythms. Scott is a past master at
this kind of unadulterated deepness, of course, but there's still something
impressive about the beatless beauty of "B3", the cymbal-driven deep techno
melancholia of "A1", and the otherworldly shuffle of "B1". All three tracks
are brilliantly immersive, offering the kind of enveloping escapism that
Scott does so well
enjoy excellent quality vinyl ripping and encoding FTW! :)
