nurture recordings, the brainchild of auckland musician simon
flowers (who himself records as peak:shift), the vinyl-focussed
nurture label have to date released eight 12" singles exploring
the deep and minimal side of new zealand techno. nurture's
ventures into vinyl have been possible due to the support of uk
distributor shady acorns, who recently snaffled up mr flowers for
a promotions position which will see him relocate to london later
this year. with nurture's big boss man based right in the thick of
things, and more releases planned for nurture.
