│ Ricky has been djing for almost five years. Although, │
│ in his short experience due to a relentless seek for │
│ quality, he has certainly progressed at a remarkably │
│ fast pace. │
│ │
│ Like many successful DJs, Ricky comes from a varying │
│ contemporary musical background, filled with different │
│ genres - and ends up with funky, disco, electro, │
│ breaks, techno & house music grooves. │
│ │
│ This musical background is supported by guitar, piano │
│ and vocal studies taken throughout his childhood, as │
│ well as completing three years of jazz and │
│ contemporary music research. │
│ │
│ Right after his 21st birthday, Ricky moved to Los │
│ Angeles (USA) searching for absolute independence. He │
│ purchased his first turntables and mixer with the │
│ money earned working 8 days a week at bars and │
│ catering events. Later on, he ended up sharing decks │
│ at the legendary æSketchpadÆ after-hours with DJ │
│ Taylor, known as the American response to Sasha. │
│ │
│ Ricky decided to go back to Buenos Aires (Argentina) │
│ and looked forward to growing into the local scene. │
│ │
│ Along with Our House Promotions, he had the chance to │
│ share the Dj booth @ Punta del Este (Uruguay) with │
│ Andy Holt (aka Redanka) & Chris Bourne (aka │
│ Tarrentella) from RIP records, Kelvin Andrews (the │
│ legend also known as Soul Mekanik), Sound 5 and part │
│ of Sure is Pure & Paolo Mojo from Fabric UK. Back in │
│ Bs. As., he mixed with Italian star Francesco Farfa, │
│ spanish dj-producer Angel Molina & Bill Patrick from │
│ ARC, New York USA. Ricky also played with almost every │
│ local talent like Alex Russo, Facu Carri, Cristobal │
│ Paz, Big Fabio, Dj Paul, Diego RoK, Diego Cid, Gustavo │
│ Lopez, Aldo Haydar, Romina Cohn, Miguel Silver and │
│ along with our very own local champion Hernan │
│ Cattaneo, who described Ricky's first production work │
│ as refreshing and technically very tight. │

│ label owned by Paolo Mojo (www.paolomojo.com) and │
│ formerly known as Entermusic, has signed "Who Cares?" │
│ (Original & Smight┤s Special Place remix) by Can │
│ Costa, Ricky's alter ego. This release has received │
│ huge support from great international djs such as │
│ Satoshi Tomiie, Adam Freeland, Hernan Cattaneo, Chris │
│ Fortier, Steve Gerrard, Marcelo Castelli, Echomen, │
│ Steve Parry, Dan Goodall, Soul Mekanik, Jerry Bonham, │
│ Joshua Collins, Ryan Papa & the man himself, Sasha. │
│ Also obtained great comments at worldwide record │
│ stores & has been reviewed @ PROG SOUNDS │

│ internet based PROTON RADIO, both as a Dj & Producer, │
│ to showcase at Smight's show, "PROFLUENCE" │

│ American dj-producer Stroud for Mining Vinyl │
│ Recordings USA, along with ArgentinaÆs Dj Paul │
│ (Clubland, PACHA). This tune called ôChobruö has been │
│ charted in BALANCE Record Pool by Chris Fortier, and │
│ has also been included in Jondi & SpeshÆs and Chris │
│ MicaliÆs charts. Also supported by Josh Wink, producer │
│ Greg Benz, fine reviewer dj Chloe @ Sound Bytes │

│ workshops in Barcelona (Spain), where heÆs been │
│ sharing the line up along with Steve Bug, Martin │
│ Landsky & Edvard at The Edge @ Otto Zutz as part of │
│ the Poker Flat World Tour. He's also visited Moscow │
│ (Russia), for a gig @ PYRAMID BAR & Lima (Peru) @ │
│ URBAN ALIEN. │
│ Ricky is currently in Buenos Aires searching for new │
│ music horizons... where he spins records along with │
│ well known djs & producers like Echomen from the UK │
│ (HoojChoons recs), Joshua Collins from the USA │
│ (Grayhound recs), Ryan Papa from Australia (Stigma │
│ recs - www.residentadvisor.com.au monthly RA │
│ Columnist) & Argentinean Dj MOS from BarcelonaÆs │
│ Pissed off recordings @ CHOCOLATE in Mar del Plata │
│ seaside city, as a warm up dj for international guests │
│ for the last four times in a row. Ricky has also been │
│ the headline dj @ BLUE VELVET & MEI in Rosario many │
│ times last year û gaining much recognition outside of │
│ Buenos Aires. │

│ Recently he has visited Asunci≤n (Paraguay) & │
│ Montevideo (Uruguay), where he had great shows & will │
│ go back soon for more gigs every two months due to the │
│ amazing feedback he got from the foreign crowd. │
│ │
│ Ricky has been guest dj at AET 10th anniversary party │
│ @ PACHA, Buenos AiresÆs greatest dance floor in │
│ Argentina & known around the world as one of the best │
│ clubs on earth. He had the chance to share his music │
│ with around 4.000 people going crazy. This has been │
│ his best experience thus far. │
│ │
│ Ricky Ryan has been djing at BUE, a huge festival in │
│ Argentina with an amazing line up of international │
│ artists such as Massive Attack, Rinocerose, Andy │
│ Fletcher (Depeche Mode), FC Kahuna, The Human League, │
│ Herbalizer, Junior Sanchez, Ashley Casselle, Slacker & │
│ loads of local talents. │
│ │
│ Nowadays, Ricky spends most of his time producing │
│ music and promoting events, not to mention djing; his │
│ latest tunes have received much support from great djs │
│ and producers such as Desyn Masiello, Shiloh, Kosmas │
│ Epsilon, Subsky & Yunus, to name a few. HeÆs just been │
│ travelling Europe where he played in Spain (Barcelona, │
│ Pamplona & Ibiza), London, Ireland, Holanda (along │
│ with Frederik from Pako & Deep Architecture), │
│ Lithuania & Rusia once again. │
