│║ Although this band has been bobbing along for ║ │
│║ quite the few years, and has gathered many fans, ║ │
│║ prepared venues for bands like Epica, Nightwish, ║ │
│║ Rhapsody of Fireà I must confess that I have ║ │
│║ never even remotely heard of this band. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ The style of this band is somewhere between ║ │
│║ power and symphonic metal, with something really ║ │
│║ epic to it. Not epic as in, ôwe take our swords ║ │
│║ and medieval costumes and chase Hans Zimmer into ║ │
│║ a crusadeö, kind of epic, but something a bit ║ │
│║ more calm, like Rhapsody. There is enough ║ │
│║ diversity in this album to make it interesting, ║ │
│║ but it still doesnÆt interest me enough to hold ║ │
│║ me. There is enough melody, the instruments are ║ │
│║ quite well played, itÆs interesting, the vocals ║ │
│║ are good enough not to be irritating, and yet ║ │
│║ something is missing. Perhaps it is simply not ║ │
│║ my cup of tea, but if itÆs really good, IÆll ║ │
│║ listen to anything. Maybe itÆs simply because ║ │
│║ itÆs not that unique. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ So anyway, this is the sixth album of the ║ │
│║ Chilean metal band, and expectations were quite ║ │
│║ high. The reviews of the previous records scored ║ │
│║ immensely high, but they never quite touched ║ │
│║ their peak. I fear that once again they did not ║ │
│║ reach climax point, and the expectations are ║ │
│║ once again, moved to the next album. If there ║ │
│║ will be one, that is. Also, there are plans for ║ │
│║ a live DVD, so enough material to look forward ║ │
│║ to, if youÆre a fan, but I think IÆll leave it ║ │
│║ at this. ║ │
