Or can I ║ │ │║ explain why in all countries Prog Metal bands ║ │ │║ blow in almost inflation÷sem extent the general ║ │ │║ attack on the inclined audience anyone else? ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ With Vigilance will now get the German Prog- ║ │ │║ Metal Group reinforcement, and fortunately, not ║ │ │║ only quantitatively. More melodic than hectic- ║ │ │║ chaotic come the eleven songs, therefore, with ║ │ │║ dominant guitar work of Uwe Fleischhauer and a ║ │ │║ very intense song, which can be felt but ║ │ │║ depending on your taste as pushy. The Keys of ║ │ │║ Gⁿnter Eiken come a bit too short and are ║ │ │║ usually doomed to background work, which is a ║ │ │║ shame, because if the man at the keys may times, ║ │ │║ then it shows that he has a lot on it. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ Most of the songs on "Behind The Mask" go ║ │ │║ despite some quiet sequences clearly towards ║ │ │║ metal, but we find with "Confide" (my personal ║ │ │║ favorite, the masterpiece of lead singer Frank ║ │ │║ Otto Conrad) and "Suicide Boulevard" also two ║ │ │║ very successful ballads. With "Levitation" is a ║ │ │║ rather comfortable instrumentals and "Dream (And ║ │ │║ You'll Believe)" provides a female voice for ║ │ │║ additional variety. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ Cover and booklet handled easily the toughest ║ │ │║ demands and round off the positive impression of ║ │ │║ this debut.
