              Wow, is it really seven whole years
              since Red Astaire (aka Freddie Cruger)
              released the original 'Nuggets For The
              Needy' LP? Sure is, but the hip hop
              breakin', soulful funky makover man is
              back like it's 2007 (or before) all
              over again. 'Nuggets For The Needy
              Volume 2' is jam packed with old school
              flavours, kicking off with the head-
              nodding 'Can't Touch This', while the
              amazing Bahamadia appears on 'U Know
              How We Do'. 'When U Need Me' gives
              Tweet's 'Call Me' a funky reggae
              shuffle refix, while the unmistakable
              tones of Omar leap out on Red's
              'Something Real' remix from 2001. Funky
              jazz breaker 'The Untouchables' is an
              unused 2002 cut for Swedish Brandy, and
              if you like that, you'll love the
              'Saturday Love' cover. Elsewhere
              Maspyke's flow gets a laid back
              backing, there's MJ in a bashment
              stylee, Burning Spear with extra bass
              wobble, a touch of afro-disco, Aretha's
              'Chain Of Fools' housed up and a
              beatdown instro.
