Welcome to the third installment of Diverted Music?s 100th release
celebrations. For many years we tried to bring together artists and DJs who
became an icons of inspiration for the label to push forward. Finally, we
bring you another? Mat Silver was the infamous name behind many of the
releases on the legendary Above The Sky Records and a pumping uplifting sound
that was synonymous with production partner Tony Burt. Together, they gave us
The Perfect Wave and Ultimate Wave among countless remixes for some of
trance?s most recognisable names. Mat was the inspiration for Diverted Music
moving forwards, and a name that will be bringing a new energy to the table.
After a couple of year of silence around Mat?s productions and DJ sets, he has
returned with a new lease of life, and created a style aptly named, spiritual
trance. Taking time to reflect on the past, Mat produced the uplifting
?Waimea? with his dear friend Tony Burt ? creating the catalyst for his own
future experiences. Almost 10 years to the day after releasing ?Waimea?, Mat
travelled to Hawaii in search for his roots, truth, solace, and to study the

the Earths largest natural wonders. A sacred place for the Hawaiian people,
this opened Mat?s eyes to the meanings of spiritual essences and by a chance
meeting, Mat was introduced to Hāwane Rios born and raised in Waimea -
Big Island ? one of Hawaii?s most respected and talented songwriters rooted
strongly in Hawaiian culture and tradition. This meeting of chance created a
powerful bond between the two, and this decree of fate was placed into Mat?s
?next wave?. The Divine Wave of truth, soul mates? And now that you know,
