dXb It is over ten years since James Harcourt first sat dXb
dXb at a cheap computer in a tiny flat in Deptford to dXb
dXb record his first track, during the cooldown after the dXb
dXb fire of the late 90's progressive house scene. The dXb
dXb premature success of 'Diaspora' preceded a few years dXb
dXb out of the music world before returning in 2005 with dXb
dXb a label and renewed enthusiasm. A steadily growing dXb
dXb flow of production inspiration led to James topping dXb
dXb the Beatport charts in 2008 before a resultant dXb
dXb increase in DJ bookings and remix offers changed the dXb
dXb focus for the subsequent few years. Toward the end of dXb
dXb 2012, James decided to take a step away from the DJ dXb
dXb circuit and slow down on original productions and dXb
dXb gigs, instead focusing on his label and to enjoy dXb
dXb family life and other interests. Whilst the music dXb
dXb industry was widely considered to be suffering due to dXb
dXb digital piracy, lack of A&R quality control and some dXb
dXb unhealthy musical trends - the lack of DJ commitments dXb
dXb meant James returned to a pure and natural approach dXb
dXb to music production, free from trends but with a dXb
dXb conscious focus on quality. Fast forward to the start dXb
dXb of 2014 and it was time to return to the studio - dXb
dXb this time with a debut album. Recorded on and off dXb
dXb during January and February, the objective was to dXb
dXb work with focus, unhurried - but without significant dXb
dXb gaps - on a richer, more melodic and intricate sound, dXb
dXb free from constraints and parameters but with a dXb
dXb greater emphasis on finer details. The resultant work dXb
dXb is entitled "Music For the Weak And The Wounded" - a dXb
dXb title inspired by the more extreme experiences of the dXb
dXb late 90's club scene in London, a period which dXb
dXb remains a core inspiration on his work. dXb
