Darren Broomhead (UK)
Exclusive Studio Mix
Techno Edition
CCPAR Podcast this weekend comes to you from the UK courtesy of
Darren Broomhead. After starting to go to the legendary Orbit in
Morley back in 1992, Darren began his DJ career in the 90s playing
at nights in York & also he had a residency on the local pirate
radio station FTPfm. He has been representing quality techno ever
since in the north of England!
Over recent years, Darren has emerged as one of Yorkshire┤s most
influential techno ambassadors, playing in nights such as the now
sadly defunct Future-Past, in Leeds. Nowadays he is a resident DJ
at Code, the emerging techno night in Leeds.
In this mix, Darren showcases mostly upcoming talent from the
British techno scene and he is on hand to up the tempo with a dark,
snaking and quite brilliant dancefloor techno interpretation. This
is a must listen to for anyone who wants to hear what is currently
going on in the UK Techno circuit!
