Yet again, Kerri Chandler delievers four tracks with laidback
grooves and a jazzy edge. Check out 'Union City Nights' which is on
the jazzy side or 'Rain' which is a moody underground thing.
One of the best garage producers and remixers during the 1990s was
Kerri "Kaoz 6:23" Chandler, a native of garage-central New Jersey
and a DJ by the time he was nine years old. Influenced by his
father (also a mixer in his own time), Chandler also began
producing tracks by the time he was 15, with help from fellow
Jersey-ites like Tony Humphries and Michael Watford. His tracks for
King St., Strictly Rhythm, Large, Nervous and his own Madhouse
Records made him one of the top producers in the garage scene by
the early '90s, with a discography including club landmarks like
"(You're My) Inspiration," "Hallelujah" and "Stompin' Grounds" as
well as more introspective, jazzy works like 1993's The Atmosphere
EP. Chandler's first LP was 1997's Kaoz on King St., followed a
year later by the mix album Kaoz Theory. Another mix album, First
Steps, followed in 2000. Chandler has also recorded under aliases
such as K.C.Y.C., Grampa and Kamar, and worked on remixes for Byron
Stingily, Kristine W., Ten City, Robin S. and Martha Wash.

If you're down with the deep house music, music with feeling..
music that makes you groove no matter where you are.. and you
keep the feeling real. .∙· d e e p h o u s e 2 0 0 2 ·∙.
