      Like Sofia Coppola's feature film, the PBS documentary MARIE            
      ANTOINETTE seeks to dispel the French queen's reputation as a           
      cold and uncaring monarch and reveal her as a misunderstood             
      victim of history. Director David Grubin makes the story come           
      to life through stunning location footage, archival                     
      paintings, dramatic re-creations, narration by actress Blair            
      Brown, and interviews with historians such as Simon Schama              
      and Antonia Fraser (upon whose biography Coppola's film is              
      based).
