Modern Urban Sound
We from Stereo Deluxe call the sound our heart is set on modern
urban sound. With the wide meaning of this expression we want to
give us and our artists the freedom to be innovative without being
categorized. Over five years now, Stereo Deluxe releases relaxed,
intelligent and varied club and lounge music.
Creative Concept
Six people are working for Stereo Deluxe these days. The label┤s
fate is controlled by Oli R÷sch (A&R, managing director and one
half of the Stereo Deluxe DJ-Team Majbour&Deluca). Denis Enos,
Michi Loehr and Birgit Peter are responsible for marketing,
promotion, booking. Nick Mann is responsible for exports marketing
and sales and Elisabeth Rudner as a graphic artist takes care of
the overall design of Stereo Deluxe. Sammy Majbour forms the other
half of the DJ-Team. This description is, of course, only a raw
outline of the working areas - we have to be allrounders to be
successful.
Labelgraphy
The label was founded in 1995 by Oli R÷sch. The first label
compilation Bassic Instinct, has been chosen the Compilation of the
month by the leading German music magazine Raveline, (the second
