  On this debut album The Kat has succeeded in recruiting more than a handful of
  remarkable musicians such as Kenny Neal (guitar) and Jean-Jacques Milteau
  (harmonica), as well as talented songsmiths such as Kevin Bowe, Guy Hans, and
  Boney Fields, the latter who also produced the recordings. This cool Kat
  definitely sings the Blues, but sheÆs also injected some Jazz and Rock
  influences as well as some funky horns into the mix; taking her music several
  steps beyond the Blues, reaching out to a much wider audience.
