with excellent single releases on compost accompanied by
outstanding remixes, the freiburg / munich trio of rainer trⁿby,
christian prommer and roland appel (a.k.a. fauna flash) have
managed to position themselves at the very pinnacle of the
international nu-jazz scene and rainer trⁿby himself currently
numbers among the most popular djs in the world. furthermore, he
has also been able to make a name for himself as a reputable music
specialist with his compilations for talkin' loud and nuphonic
(remember rootdown?).
the title "high jazz" is the first vocal production by the trio
ever and features joseph malik on the mic. the perfect kick start
for a huge trⁿby trio campaign in 2001.
