█░ In late 2002 Lismore began as two Jeresy city Fifth Street neighbors,░█
█░ Stephen and Penelope, teamed up to create a curious combination of ░█
█░ pop music, electronics, guitars, vocals and other strange elements. ░█
█░ Stephen previously was known in the music world as 'DJ Kingsize', ░█
█░ one of the most respected producing pioneers within american drum ░█
█░ and bass, but wanted to switch gears and do something in a completely░█
█░ different direction. Penelope was a jazzy vocalist originally from ░█
█░ Australia who was in a few jazz bands in new york city and some rock ░█
█░ bands such as 'The Subterraneans' in Australia before deciding to ░█
█░ take on a new trajectory. ░█

█░ Throughout the year Lismore's expanding stockpile of songs seemed to ░█
█░ create a genre all its own and, in an effort to take their music ░█
█░ into the live realm, they acquired Peter Kaufamann to play drums ░█
█░ and Claude Coleman to play bass. With these additions, the sound ░█
█░ morphed even further into a mix of something that isn't very easily ░█
█░ defined catching the ear of some small labels interested in pushing ░█
