│║ Although his name almost compulsively reminds me ║ │
│║ of all the fine leg from the Mad-books, which ║ │
│║ were regularly maimed, knotted or shredded by ║ │
│║ the crazy cartoonist Don Martin, I have utmost ║ │
│║ respect for David "Rock" Feinstein. This is not ║ │
│║ only because of its significant contribution to ║ │
│║ the excellent plates of the legendary Rod, the ║ │
│║ "Nothing Going On In The City" brain bowl me ║ │
│║ crazy with song smashers like "Crank It Up", ║ │
│║ "Power Lover" or the insanely rocking. Since I ║ │
│║ know that he played with our Blessed ║ │
│║ Sangeshobbit Ronnie James Dio in its first ║ │
│║ formation ELF, it is for me to the front row of ║ │
│║ the hard rock. I imagine also that David has ║ │
│║ never really made a weak album and does not ║ │
│║ change even with its current output. For "Clash ║ │
│║ Of Armor" provides all the usual Feinstein Trade ║ │
│║ Marks (which there actually) in ample extent. ║ │
│║ Although the fast opener "Metal Rules" a little ║ │
│║ of both suffers from abundant textual clichΘs ║ │
│║ and under the not quite fit voice of the chief, ║ │
│║ are in progress but enough arguments for a ║ │
│║ positive review. "Kill The Pain" is a dramatic ║ │
│║ rocker, the melancholic colored "Alone In The ║ │
│║ Dark" rifft and grooves very good, the power ║ │
│║ ballad "Listen To The Wind" Although remembers ║ │
│║ the beginning of the Metallica-Fall "Nothing ║ │
│║ Else Matters", soars then but on an impressive ║ │
│║ wide-screen cinema and generally provide all ║ │
│║ nine pieces of well-aged hard and heavy rock old ║ │
│║ school with awesome riffs and mellow guitar ║ │
│║ solos, lush bass and driving drums, which can be ║ │
│║ classified in the past Rods easily. So far ║ │
│║ everything in balance. If only the voice of the ║ │
│║ master would not be that but often times shows ║ │
│║ signs of wear. I recommend for further actions a ║ │
│║ young, unused talent on the microphone. That ║ │
│║ could not hurt. ║ │
