  'There are several elements from each of Compromise's 11 tracks that can be
  considered salient: the lingering guitar twang on 'Shells & Stones' will ring
  in your ears; the angst felt within the lyrics of 'The Way Down' will cause
  you to tense even though you have no reason to; the accompanying vocals met
  with driving riffs on 'No Secret; I' will take you back to your favorite
  alternative record from the 90s (All Shook Down) while the faster-paced
  'Lincoln' provides an visceral visual to the aforementioned Alkaline Trio
  influence.ItÆs difficult to pick out a favorite track on an album that is so
  easy to digest. Let's just say that there are other ways to spend 34 minutes
  of your time than this 11-song tribute to the sound that was, but few will be
  as fruitful.
