│ All tracks produced by Reginald (Reggie Reg) Dempsey for Michu │
│ Productions. │
│ │
│ Second single released by Slum Brothers. This time on Michu │
│ Records. │
│ │
│ "The Slum Bros had a nice single last year in "Sure Shot". The │
│ next time around...they've pretty much kept the same │
│ formula...maybe a little too much. For the most part, I liked │
│ "Stop Fronting", but it borrows HEAVILY from "Sure │
│ Shot"...everything from the minimalistic, piano laced track to │
│ the rhyme flow is similiar to last year's single. "Regular │
│ Ni***s" is forgettable on top of that. Still a decent cut, worth │
│ checking out, but don't expect the next sh*t. A'ight" │

│ "With the lead track "Stop fronting" it seems like they're │
│ dissin' the Dogg Pound Gangstas and Snoop Dogg ("New York, New │
│ York, who the fuck you think you're dissin'?"), but it might be │
│ aimed to others as well or no one specific. Over a simple, piano │
│ laced head nodder produced by Reginald Dempsey, emcee Architect │
│ warns all fake rappers and gangstas out there. With the right │
│ type of lyrics to back up their statements and a little twist of │
│ humor the track results in lines like "Your style's fucked up │
│ like Patrick Ewing's afro". │
│ │
│ Lyrically the b-side "Regular niggers" offers more of the same, │
│ but unfortunately the production (again handled by Reginald │
│ Dempsey) sounds a little boring and doesn't seem to compliment │
│ the lyrics. They didn't lose their humor however... "I can make │
│ Denzel look like Craig Mack!"" │
