Intricate Records is ready to present the long-awaited sequel of the label's
signature compilations. The second issue of "Intricate Sessions" will be
released in summer 2014. In accordance with the last year's tradition, two
permanent residents and label co-founders, PROFF and Vadim Soloviev are
responsible for compiling and mixing of Volume Two. The main release will be
introduced by two samplers. The second sampler will be put together by PROFF.
Three tracks from this sampler are already confirmed to appear on Vladimir's
mix later on, these are: "Robots" by Envotion, "The Computer" by Feu d'Or and
"Believe" by Local Heroes. The Dutch trio Envotion continues spreading their
extra-sensible electronic sound to the masses. This time the guys from
Maastricht composed a track "Robots" and reminded us about the long forgotten
subject of human communication with machines and the search for balance
between technologies and emotions. Here and there you could trace the
reminiscences of the classical "The Robots" by Kraftwerk, however, its content
is much more major and cheerful compared to the creation of the German team.
Another track in the sampler, also with a title that shows connection with
high-tech solutions, was composed by the label's good old friend, Feu d'Or -
two years ago he joined the Intricate catalog with two hits, "Chasin Joe" and
"Singapore'. His latest production, "The Computer", in contrary, is heavyset
and outsize, even clumsy, but at the same time not less attractive and melodic
than the previous works by this musician. A totally new name for the label and
its followers is Local Heroes - are three rugged fellows from Buffalo with
very serious commitments to update their status of local scene heroes to the
internationally acclaimed trio. One of the first steps in this direction is
their original production "Believe", a lightsome track they submitted
especially for the second 'Intricate Sessions" compilation.
