│║ Morbid Jester founded in 1988 as a German- ║ │
│║ language punk rock band under the name ║ │
│║ "anthrax". The founding members were Georg ║ │
│║ Matthias (vocals), Thomas Str÷mmer (guitar) and ║ │
│║ Mark Hain (drums). The band was completed ║ │
│║ gradually by Michael Weitzel (bass), Olaf ║ │
│║ Reichmann (Guitar), Heiko Diehl (guitar) and ║ │
│║ Mario Baker (guitar). After they played ║ │
│║ Initially German punk rock, was relatively ║ │
│║ quickly becomes clear that the heavy metal was ║ │
│║ rather inclined. So was followed by the change ║ │
│║ of style and the change of name in Morbid ║ │
│║ Jester. After a few appearances - including the ║ │
│║ legendary Ready For Rock Festival in Herborn - ║ │
│║ and smaller line-up changes, the band was ║ │
│║ complete with the following musicians: ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ Matthias Georg - Vocals | Mario Baker - Guitar | ║ │
│║ Thomas Str÷mmer - Guitar | Udo Krause - Bass | ║ │
│║ Markus Hain - Drums ║ │
│║ With this line-up Morbid Jester competed among ║ │
│║ others, a competition held by the IG Metall ║ │
│║ Herborn band competition and thereby gained the ║ │
│║ 2nd place. Inspired by this success dared Morbid ║ │
│║ Jester in August / September 1992 Step into a ║ │
│║ recording studio to produce their first demo ║ │
│║ tape. "First Audience" was recorded in Jacca ║ │
│║ Music Studio in Kreuztal. The first notable ║ │
│║ success, the band self-produced demo this could ║ │
│║ sell about 400 times. In addition to several ║ │
│║ performances of course a lot of new songs were ║ │
│║ written, since the aim of the band was to bring ║ │
│║ a complete full-time CD on the market. So we ║ │
│║ booked in April 1994 Dust-Music-Studio in ║ │
│║ Hilchenbach and produced together with SL Coe ║ │

│║ the title "Until The Battle Is Won" this self- ║ │
│║ production with 2,000 copies sold after all. ║ │
│║ Customers found not only in Germany, but ║ │
│║ including in Japan and Greece. ║ │
│║ Through this CD and the consistently good press ║ │
│║ reaction to the band managed as a first pure ║ │
│║ heavy metal band, a commitment to nationally ║ │
│║ known Haigerer Old Town Festival to get. ║ │

│║ the NWOBHM-icons "Saxon" in Erndtebrⁿck- ║ │
│║ Birkelbach. Encouraged by the success of the two ║ │
│║ productions was decided to produce a new album ║ │
│║ in May 1996. ║ │

│║ In Stefan Scholl was however quickly a suitable ║ │
│║ successor. In addition to several appearances ║ │
│║ was again mostly "songwriting" on the program ║ │
│║ because of the somewhat rougher vocals of course ║ │
│║ also called for harsher songs. So much has been ║ │
│║ done on new material, which in September 1998, ║ │
│║ again in the Dust Music Studio in Hilchenbach ║ │
│║ with renewed collaboration with producer SL Coe ║ │
│║ was fixed on tape. The final shots began to ║ │
│║ search for a record company. This was found ║ │
│║ quite quickly with "Iron Glory Records". Thus, ║ │
│║ the release of "Gates To Valhalla" was the ║ │
│║ spring of 1999, nothing in the way, which was ║ │
│║ presented live at a proper release party over ║ │
│║ 400 enthusiastic headbangers. After numerous ║ │
│║ performances, among others, Dr. Death, Ulan ║ │
│║ Bator, Chateau disaster, Reactor and many more ║ │
│║ singers Stefan Scholl had to leave for work ║ │
│║ reasons, the band unfortunately in 2000. ║ │
│║ Fortunately, stood with Stephan "Addi" Eichert a ║ │
│║ more than adequate frontman as a successor ║ │
│║ ready, who had any of these bands such as ║ │
│║ "Jack", "Heaven's Gate (LDK)" or "Test ║ │
│║ Readiness" ersungen a more than 15-year career. ║ │
│║ Given that the stated aim of the band was the ║ │
│║ production of a new long player, one turned ║ │
│║ increasingly to songwriting. ║ │
│║ Shortly before the planned production in 2002, ║ │
│║ the band was hit by a heavy blow. Singer Stephen ║ │
│║ was killed in a work accident. ║ │
│║ This disaster "crippled" the band for a long ║ │
│║ time. However, it was decided - certainly within ║ │
│║ the meaning of Addi - to look for a new voice ║ │
│║ out. Unfortunately, this venture proved to be ║ │
│║ very lengthy. ║ │

│║ The singer Search retired finally out before the ║ │
│║ end of 2004 with Allan Bunnell again was a ║ │
│║ charismatic shouter available. With the new ║ │
│║ front man aboard the emphasis was placed on to ║ │

│║ In summer 2006, Sebastian "Buddy" Eisentraut ║ │
│║ came as a third guitarist added to the band. ║ │
│║ This turned out to be a real godsend, because ║ │
│║ Mario "Wusel" Baker had to leave in the spring ║ │
│║ of 2007, the band for professional reasons, ║ │
│║ unfortunately. ║ │
│║ In the same year, however, Sebastian left the ║ │
│║ band again and so the search was going on for a ║ │
│║ 2nd guitarist. Until the re-entry of Mario baker ║ │
│║ end of 2009, this part Chris Bunnell filled out. ║ │
│║ In June 2012, then replaced again Chris Bunnell ║ │
