██▌▄▀█ At long last an Apparat record that gets on your ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ nerves. However, this is not intended in a negative ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ light, no - but instead conveys the sense of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ deciphering a puzzling riddle. How, in fact are Noise ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ and Techno combined? ░██▌▄▀

██▌▄▀█ Born in 1978 in a small city in the mountains of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ southeast Germany, Apparat was making and playing ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ harder edged techno until he moved to Berlin in 1997 ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ and became more focused on sound design than beats. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Since then his musical career has blossomed with ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ various 12" and album releases on T.RaumschmiereÆs ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Shitkatapult imprint and Ellen Allien's Bpitch ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Control and last year witnessed him team up with ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Italian singer Gianna Nannini for the opera ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ 'Bruschello'. As if to get the ultimate seal of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ approval Apparat played on John Peel's show this May ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ which will be released as a Peel Session later this ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ year on Shitkatapult. ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ On "Can't Computerize it", Apparat gives us ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ 'intelligent techno', which advances from the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "shuffle" to the "Schaffel". Apparat however has ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ apparently no desire to serve fans with traditional ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ fare but would rather leisurely lure them to the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ floor. 'Hot' flicks between mad robo-funk, melody and ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ drone with gay abandon and 'Cheap Thrills' skitters ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ and skips into a twisted house beat with sonic ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ deviance stamped all over it. Finally 'Funk Is ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Something Else' stutters and stalls into a warped ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ funk workout. ░██▌▄▀
