Mauro Scocco och Plura Jonsson har lange haft en drom om att
tagluffa tillsammans i Frankrike och i juni 2013 forverkligades
denna drom. Med varsin gitarr och ett par munspel i fickan gav de
sig ut pa det stora aventyret. Foljda av ett filmteam reste de runt
pa de franska jarnvΣgarna, spelandes och sjungandes langs med den
franska kusten; fran Normandie i norr till Baskien i syd. Hela
tagluffen sandes pa TV3 under januari till mitten av februari och i
samband med detta slappte Mauro och Plura ett album med musiken som
de spelade under resan. Under sju intensiva dagar i december 2013
spelades alla nitton latar in i koket i Johan Lindstroms Studio i
Hammarby. Allt fran Mauro och Pluras nyskrivna "Vaska Full Med
Trubbel" till Rolling Stones "Dead Flowers"ö Repertoaren bestar i
ovrigt av Eldkvarn, Ratata och Mauro Scocco-latar, Olle Ljungstroms
och Heinz Liljedahls "Kaffe Och En Ccigarett", Peter LeMarcs
"Tidvatten" och Jackie Greens "A Thing Called Rai" for att namna
nagra. Pa albumet spelar medproducenten Johan Lindstrom piano, orgel
och gitarr och Ola Hultgren spelar trummor. Pa programmets
signaturmelodi "Djangos Tiger" ar det Gustav Lundgren fran Hot Club
De Suede som spelar akustiska Django-gitarrer. Albumet ar producerat
av Johan Lindstrom, Kjell Andersson, Mauro Scocco och Plura Jonsson.
