Other Side Project Volume One". This is the first artist album for
the label, and is intended to showcase some of Russ's more electronic
productions - from heavy broken beat workouts to more jazzy affairs,
with a respectful nod to old-school detroit techno. The album is a
diverse affair and should appeal to open-minded music lovers
everywhere.
On this 12' you'll find Masonette alongside a remix of Aldeburgh by
Yotoko, aka Dominic 'domu' Stanton and Dave 'shifty' Farlam. Already
gaining big props for their EP releases on Delsin, which combine
techno, broken beat and hip hop influences in unique style, their
debut album "Wet Ink" also drops on Delsin. Masonette has already
been aired by Gilles Peterson and Benji B on BBC Radio One and 1xtra,
and Yotoko's mix of Aldeburgh is sure to rock many a dancefloor this
winter.
