'So what do you call it? Garage? Urban? 2Step? Wiley calls
it 'Eski Beat', and as an artist who has been involved in
the underground scene for years, he is one of the most
respected producers in his field. The general
grime/garage/MC-led movement is yet to be given a name, and
this is addressed in Wiley's debut single. Using his
infamous 'Igloo' track behind the witty yet defiant vocals,
'Wot Do U Call It?' was produced as a response to how Wiley
and his felow visionaries were being treated by the
traditional garage fraternity. '
