    ▓        Steve Sim has been producing electronic music for            ▓
    ▓        close to 20 years.                                           ▓
    ▓                                                                     ▓
    ▓        From his humble beginnings in the early 80's living          ▓
    ▓        outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada making "pause        ▓
    ▓        tapes" (if you're not sure what that means, look it          ▓
    ▓        up in your favorite internet search engine - it's an         ▓
    ▓        early hiphop "beat" creation technique), Steve has           ▓
    ▓        always been facinated by sounds and how to create            ▓
    ▓        them. While most of his friends were getting their           ▓
    ▓        first set of drums or learning guitar, Steve was             ▓
    ▓        learning how to use a drum machine and sampler while         ▓
    ▓        "peeking and poking" around on his trusty Commodore          ▓
    ▓        64 trying to make it blip and bleep!                         ▓
    ▓                                                                     ▓
    ▓        Now, Steve finally has turned that hobby into a great        ▓
    ▓        career! With vinyl releases on several respected             ▓
    ▓        techno labels (Metamorphic Recordings US, 240 Volts          ▓
    ▓        UK and Itiswhatitis Recordings Canada) and a full            ▓
    ▓        length cd with his band "Freshbread" on Warner               ▓
    ▓        Canada/HRM Records it's a wonder Steve finds time to         ▓
    ▓        write music outside of his full time job as a sound          ▓
    ▓        designer for Edmonton, Alberta, Canada based BioWare         ▓
    ▓        Corp! Steve spends his days making sound effects for         ▓
    ▓        hit video game titles like "Star Wars : Knights of           ▓
    ▓        the Old Republic" and the popular expansion pack for         ▓
    ▓        Neverwinter Nights "Shadows of Undrentide", and his          ▓
    ▓        nights "looking for the perfect beat".                       ▓
